Tonight was our team packing party. It’s where we gather all the kids and leaders, and all their luggage and all of our ministry supplies we’ll be taking and then organize it all so that we are sure we are not missing anything before departure tomorrow. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to pray with our team and family members and dedicate this trip to the Lord. In just about 12 hours the team will be getting on the plane for Vancouver and then on to Mexico City!
These are the amazing people going on the trip...and those sending us off! Thank you for all your love and support - and I’m so proud of the team going to serve!
Terry left yesterday intending on being in Mexico City two days early to prep for the team, but due to many complications and mistakes by the airline he had to fly to Vancouver, back east to Toronto at midnight last night, then a middle of the night flight to arrive in Mexico City about 1 pm today. It was a very long day for him without a lot of sleep. But he is there and safe.
You can be praying for the team as they head out tomorrow that they have no travel difficulties.
Great news though - Terry was able to see the place we are renting for the team to stay in Huixquilucan and he said it’s great with lots of room, and best of all the Becerras can stay there with us all week. I’m most glad about that. It means Pastor Jaime doesn’t have to travel 2 - 4 hours each way to Huixy each day. A real blessing.
Alright, enough for tonight. I still have many little details that need to be taken care of before tomorrow. Blessings everyone!
